The Decorous™ implant is a conical implant with trapezoidal coronal part, which reduces stress in cortical bone and prevents bone resorption. Its tapered, root-shaped body geometry and variable-thread design ensure easy insertion and superior primary stability. The Decorous™ implant is a self-tapping and self-condensing implant that guarantees excellent results.

The implant thread depth varies along the length of the implant. It is deeper at the implant apex and gradually becomes shallower towards the neck, resulting in horizontal bone condensing. Also, the thread is sharper at the apex, gradually thickening towards the neck. This ensures high insertion properties of the implant as well as vertical condensation of bone.

The Decorous™ implant design makes it versatile in use offering the optimal choice for a wide range of clinical cases and loading protocols. Although suitable for all bone types, it is recommended for bone types III and IV. The Decorous™ implant is a perfect solution for immediate placement and loading.

  • Proper gingival tissue growth around the implant neck
Micro Rings
  • High primary stability at the cortical level
  • Improved bone-to-implant-contact
  • Reduced pressure on the cortical bone
  • Minimized cortical bone resorption
Double Thread
Simpler and faster implant placement, gentle to the surrounding bone
Variable-Thread Profile
  • High insertion properties
  • Gradual condensation of the bone
  • High primary stability
  • Extensive bone-to-implant contact
  • Better stress distribution
Atraumatic Domed Apex
  • Improved self-tapping properties thanks to the apical blades
  • Low risk of damaging anatomical structures
Platform Switching
  • Greater growth of the soft tissue minimizing bone resorption
  • Ideal antibacterial seal
  • Longstanding esthetic stability
Internal Hex Connection
  • Very precise internal hex
  • One platform suitable for all diameters
  • Optimum sealing and absence of micromovements
  • Perfect implant-abutment connection
  • High resistance to torsional loading
  • Effective occlusal loading distribution
  • Simple restoration process and excellent esthetic results
CorA™ Surface Treatment
CorA™ (Corundum-blasted, Acid-etched) allows to achieve a high percentage of bone-to-implant contact (BIC). CorA™ surface is formed as a result of rough sandblasting of the titanium implant with corundum particles (Al2O3 aluminum oxide). Due to this, a macroroughness of the titanium surface is achieved. This is followed by an intensive etching in an acid bath at elevated temperature for several minutes. As a result, the fine 2–4 µm micropits are produced on the rough-blasted surface.
Apical Part Design
  • Cutting notches
  • Reduced excessive pressure on the bone
  • Anti-rotational function after osseointegration
  • Optimized secondary stability
  • Self-tapping

Drill Sequence

  • The drill may be used throughout the entire implant’s length, where the cortical bone is soft.
  • The drill may be used as a countersink where the cortical bone is hard.

Important:

  • All drills are available with internal or external irrigation, straight or conical.
  • Additional drill diameters are available.
  • In cases of extremely hard bone it is recommended to make adjustments.
  • Protocol recommended by Sunran should not replace the dental surgeon judgment and experience.
  • Drill sterilization should be carried out in accordance with the Sunran sterilization protocol.
